1. Agreement & Operator

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) constitute an agreement between you and Mantodea Technologies ApS (CVR: 43400142), with registered office at c/o Konstantinos Michail, Dunkerquegade 13, 4. th, 2150 Nordhavn, Denmark (“Mantodea”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), governing your access to and use of the AssumptionCheck application located at https://assumption-check.mantodea.io.

By accessing or using AssumptionCheck, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Intended Audience

AssumptionCheck is designed exclusively for business and professional use by independent consultants, freelancers, agency owners, and commercial teams. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements.

3. The Service

AssumptionCheck is an automated analysis tool designed to review draft project proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), quotations, and scope documents. Its purpose is to assist users in identifying practical ambiguities, unstated dependencies, unassigned responsibilities, missing acceptance conditions, and commercial scope-creep vulnerabilities prior to sharing them with clients.

4. AI-Generated Output & No Legal Advice

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: AssumptionCheck does not provide legal advice.

Analyses, risk ratings, and suggested replacement wording are generated using artificial intelligence (Google Gemini). AI systems can misunderstand nuance, omit relevant risks, or generate inaccurate information.

All output is provided for guidance and commercial reference only. You are solely responsible for reviewing, adapting, and validating all suggestions before incorporating them into any commercial proposal, contract, or binding agreement.

Suggested wording is not a substitute for professional legal or contract review. AssumptionCheck does not warrant or guarantee that any analyzed document or suggested amendment will be legally complete, valid, enforceable, or free from commercial liability.

5. User Content & Confidential Information

Ownership: You retain full ownership, copyright, and all other rights in the scope documents and text you submit to AssumptionCheck.

Limited License: You grant Mantodea only the limited, non-exclusive license necessary to process, analyze, and (if you choose to save) store your content solely to provide the AssumptionCheck service to you.

Commercial Scopes & Confidentiality: AssumptionCheck is specifically built to evaluate real-world commercial proposals and SOWs. Submitting commercial scopes is permitted, provided that:

You have the legal right, authority, and any required permissions to submit the text for processing.
You remove unnecessary personal, confidential, or sensitive personal data (e.g. personal identification numbers or unnecessary third-party personal details) before submission.
You remain solely responsible for your compliance with any non-disclosure agreements or confidentiality obligations owed to third parties.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the service for any illegal, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful purpose.
Submit malicious code, scripts, or materials that compromise the integrity of our systems or other users.
Attempt to probe, scan, or reverse engineer any system vulnerability, or bypass service rate limits and security controls.
Use automated scripts, bots, scrapers, or high-frequency automated calls against the analysis API outside normal interactive human usage.
Attempt to access data belonging to another user.

7. Accounts & Security

Saving analyses requires signing in via Google Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your Google account credentials. You can delete any saved analysis or permanently delete your AssumptionCheck account at any time via the Account area.

8. Availability, Suspension & Termination

AssumptionCheck is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to temporarily suspend, rate-limit, or restrict access to any user or client exhibiting abusive, malicious, or automated scraping behavior to protect service availability for all users.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of Denmark.
